Team access and channels
How to give your team access to Merit in Slack and manage who can do what.
Merit is installed at the workspace level. Every member of your Slack workspace can use Merit in any channel it's been invited to — there's no per-seat license or per-user setup.
Inviting Merit to channels
/invite @Mavrick
Merit will be active in that channel. Anyone in the channel can @-mention Merit to run commands. Merit only reads and responds in channels it's been invited to.
Restricting action permissions
Restrict actions to specific users
@Mavrick only allow actions from @username1, @username2
Data queries and report generation remain available to everyone. Only action commands (those that write to connected accounts) can be role-restricted.
